Warranty - My Waverly Homes

We want to help your transition into your new home be as seamless as possible, so we offer a variety of resources for common questions and warranty items.  If this is your first home (congratulations!), it can be a challenge to know where to start.  For this reason, we’ve put together a list of FAQ’s, guide to what home items are covered by warranty and which are homeowner maintenance, and have an online portal called BuilderTrend to allow you to submit items and track progress and scheduling.

Let’s start the Warranty review!  Your new home is covered by a 2-10 Home Buyer’s Warranty.

Through this program, we provide every home we build with 10 full years of structural home warranty protection.  In addition, around your 1-year anniversary, we’ll schedule a walk-through to take care of any other minor issues that have developed. As a new home settles, it’s common for small changes to come up- such as a separation in grout, nail pops, and loose hinges.  We have contractors on staff, as well as subcontractors as appropriate.  We build homes to last, and we invest in our relationship with our owners.

1 full year of surety coverage against defects in workmanship and materials

It is your responsibility to read the structural home warranty contract and understand it. Call 2-10 HBW at 800.488.8844 with questions about any part of the warranty you do not understand. For more information on the 2-10 Home Buyers Warranty, visit www.2-10.com.

Regular home maintenance is an important factor in keeping your new home in top condition, so be sure to follow the maintenance guidelines detailed in 2-10’s New Home Manual and in the instruction booklets for individual appliances or products. Waverly Homes is proud of the high quality which has been built into every aspect of your new home, and we are confident that with the proper upkeep it will provide you with years of enjoyment and comfortable living.
